Quite a number of people on this forum use it, so I'd say it's one of the best.

Used it for three years on 2 pc's,never had a problem to mention.

I actually had a thread running recently saying about my security of Mcafee, nearly binned it and went for Zonealarm and AVG as my other 2 pc's have.

Zone Alarm is a fine firewall, although it has it's detractors I've not had any problems with it for a long time.

In fact the only issue I've ever had with it was an early release of version 5 which had severe stability issues. I tried running Outpost for a while, which is also good, but went back to Zone Alarm once it had been updated.

I used to run AVG and had no issues between ZA and AVG. Last year I moved away from AVG onto Avast! as I found it updated more often and scans were quicker.

A friend runs ZA Security Suite, which is a paid for product, this includes the pro version of ZA which has more configuration options, and also includes AV software and spam filters etc, he likes it, and considers it worth the money.
