Firefox and Webshots

  Bigpeat 00:04 01 Aug 2007

I have just installed the latest version of FF ( and now find that the picture-sharing site Webshots (click here) won't load - a completely blank web page results. Previous versions of FF worked fine, and so does IE (v. 10.0), so it doesn't look as though the problem is at the Webshots end. Any suggestions? I use FF as my default web browser and it's a nuisance to have to switch to IE just to view Webshots. I have scanned with Adaware and Spybot to remove any malware, without success.

use IE tab as a quick fix.

Sounds a neat idea - how do I do this?

I'm using Firefox and the page is loading OK. Try deleting your temporary files and cookies. Are you using any add-ons? One of these could be causing a problem.

Thank you skidzy, a very useful application! My FF still refuses to load Webshots so I am not sure why beynac can do it and I can't. Thanks to both for your help.

right click and view page in IE tab.
If it works in IE it should work in FF.

Good luck

I, too, had this problem. Firefox all of a sudden would not allow me to see my Webshots page. All I got was a blank screen. My solution was to go into "Tools" and delete my cookie for Webshots. When I did this, the problem was solved. I can now view my page as before.
