Your link doesn't work and my info is that it is due next week.

Just downloaded it from Softpedia.

But it does not recognise the latest Java update or Avast browser tool.

So if you are thinking of using it remember Java will not work.

To tell the truth I have not found much difference between version 5 and version 6,

So maybe best sticking with V5 till they get Java sorted out.

Just installed the latest Java Update.I.7 and it still does not recognise Java.

Maybe it does not need it to run in the new version I don't know.

Will keep to Firefox's own update feature within the browser as it's only a back up browser anyway for me.

Thanks for the info anyway.

Firefox 6 arrived via Firefox update today. No noticeable change from 5 as far as I can see. Click on Tools - Add-ons resulted in loading and nothing until I clicked on Extensions and then it worked.

Spitting feathers! Firfox just updated to v6 and now my essential, must have add on doesn't work, not supported. How can I get back to version 5? Searched Internet for v5 but again uploads to v6 Help how can I get v5?

Noggerules ... Try a System Restore back to before installing Ver 6.0

Only issue at the moment is Trusteer Rapport but they say a new Trusteer download should be available by the weekend.

Added support for EventSource / server-sent events

Added support for window.matchMedia

Added Scratchpad, an interactive JavaScript prototyping environment

Added a new Web Developer menu item and moved development-related items into it

Improved usability of the Web Console

Just reinstalling FF5 over FF6 should take you back.

As in the past I am hanging fire until the Evernote Web Clipper is compatible.,probably in a few days time.
