Firefox tabbed browsing - "lock tab" query

What does it do???? Anyone know?

I think you can lock a tab to prevent it from being closed accidently, for example. To close that particular tab you'll need to 'unlock' it first. G

No, sorry doesn't quite work that way, does it?

BTW, accidently = accidentally

OK, think I got it & it does work this way:

"Lock tab - the links in a locked tab will be opened in a new tab."

Crossbow7 - I enjoyed your dialogue with yourself! Seriously, tho'.... thanks! Can I ask, did you find the answer in some documentation, or by trial and error?

"...did you find the answer in some documentation, or by trial and error?"

A bit of both really! And glad you enjoyed the self-dialogue (as you put it) ; )) G

PS - have you tried out Firefox's Extensions & Themes? Extensions, especially - not to be missed click here.
