firefox problem

Since a recent Firefox upgrade, my anti-virus constantly advises " found tracking cookie - ApplicationData\mozilla\firefox\profiles\xjhz4p3t.default\cookies\sqlite". Different cuplprits are shown, but the message is identical.
Should I be worrying about this, or ignoring it, please?

Tracking cookies are a fact of life if you use the web and the vast majority are relatively harmless - at least I have never heard of one doing damage.

Not knowing which AV you use makes providing any definitive information on preventing these alerts very difficult, but you should be able to suppress them from within the interface.

John - it is AVG Free 8.5 - don't particularly want to upgrade to 9. Also can't see how to "suppress" these warnings....and want to know why they have suddenly started to appear - only in the last three days.
If they ARE harmless, I just won't look!

You can set AVG not to scan for tracking cookies.
Or try Tools advanced settings.Appearance.
Balloon tray notifications.Untick system tray notifications.Apply.

I have accidently deleted my 'favourites ' bar and 'view ' and I have no idea how to recover them.
I would really appreciate some advice.
Many thanks

bridge you are best to create your own thread. Rather than using someone elses.
