Firefox not opening secure pages

  Leapmanster 09:10 03 Apr 2007

I have norton internet security and the latest firefox on my pc (MCE), but firefox wont open any https pages even though my firewall is set to allow them. IE7 doesn't have this problem and it works fine. I could just not firefox and switch to IE but I prefer it.

Please help.

From FF's Tools>Options>Advanced tab>Encryption are both top boxes checked?

I don't see anything which says encryption but the boxes that say SSL and TLS are ticked if that is what you mean. maybe i havent got the latest update?

Latest version of Firefox is

Yes, those are the boxes that I meant.

Also check that Select One Automatically is Enabled for web site certificates from the same tab.
