I use Firefox. I have downloaded Newsmonster as a news reader.
It half fills the screen and leaves very little for firefox
How do I uninstall newsmonster.
When I try and folow the instruction I get message
XML parsins error:xml processing instructio not at start of external entity
Location :chrome://newsmonster/content/newsmonster-aggregator-disabled.xulline number 1 column 1:>/dialog>
It seems a terrible complaint. Do I have to uninstall firefox and then reinstall

You are not, it would seem, by any means the only one...:-)

Thanks for your comments I uninstalled firefox then reinstalled and was pleased to see all my book marks were intact-so was able to come back to the forum quite quickly
Thanks again-its good to have you around with a helping hand

Glad it's sorted.

You won't lose your bookmarks or FireFox configuration as the profiles are held in a separate folder from the browser - that's one reason why it's easy to uninstall a current FireFox version to replace it with a new version without losing settings.
