Hi everyone

I have been a 'dedicated follower of IE' for many years and have just downloaded Firefox.

Just wondered what it has that IE doesnt.?

What are people recommendeds?

When i first opened it, it asked me what i wanted the home page to be set as - i chose to transfer from IE- what is the default setting then for Firefox?

Depends which version of IE you are using. I have IE6 on my machine which I only use when Firefox can't handle a web page. I find the biggest benefit of Firefox is tabbed browsing but if you look at the variety of add-ons you can customise Firefox to your hearts content. Not sure what you mean regarding the home page setting, but there again, much like IE, you can set your homepage to whatever you like, there isn't a default as such.

The default page for Firefox is usually the Mozilla welcome page when you first install it, from there you can set the home page to what you like.
