Hi Rob. I doubt that Firefox is the problem. Go to Control panel, Network Connections. Right click on the connection you use and select "Connect". This should then connect you computer to your ISP. If it doesn't then the problem is between your modem and your ISP.

If you wish to change ISP's then just phone AOL for the code. First though I'd "shop" around for another ISP and browse this forum for posts about various other internet providers. I'm connected via netgear DG834G v3 and have no problems at all. I've been with AOL for quite a number of years and they're as good as the next I believe.
