Firefox bookmark problem

  Skinn 11:36 08 Mar 2009

A problem I have is when I click on the 'Bookmarks' button in order to make a selection, it's as if I'm attempting to bookmark the displayed page. It has to be pressed again to display the list of bookmarks.

Any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

If you are not using the latest version 3.0.7 it is worth updating to it.

Indeed version 3 has many bells and whistle gone AWOL
that did work at one time- Forward/Back arrow. CoolIris. to name but 2
The only version that has any degree of completeness is
So has Windows changed?
Turning off my protection [ZA suite] makes no difference.

It brings up the bookmarks menu as a column to the left of the screen. What I'm posting about is the Bookmarks button at the top of the page.

Yes I know that, I am asking to find out if any other aspects of bookmarking functions are not working as they should. Do you see this tooltip text when you hover the mouse over the button? click here
I'm using a theme so the icon might not be the same.

Yes, I have a bookmarks button. It's actually the 'Bookmark' text button at the very top of the page that there's a problem with.
