Got it thanks mate.

Strange how the "update" in the program didn't work!

XD

I'm not sure if the update within Firefox works at all when it comes to a completely new version being released.

It used to work with previous updates maybe the servers haven't been yet updated?

"It used to work with previous updates"

Indeed yes and if you were running 3.0 then it would update to 3.0.1 up to 3.0.11 but this is not an update of 3.0. It (3.5) is a completely new program and,as I said, I do not think that the auto update function will work when it comes to changing from one program version to a new one.

I think you will find that it will update to 3.5.1 as and when that arrives.

Updated about half-a-hour ago - some additional settings, seems somewhat quicker, but otherwise not noticed much difference yet.

The Mozilla page comes up with a declaration that it's an RC version - perhaps still to update the page?

The update within Firefox always takes a while to kick into action - that's why it's best to use FileHippo or MajorGeeks.

I like the Add New Tab button idea, but so far I've been clicking it to close down a tab and instead get a new tab..:-)

I have a Green"+" to add a new tab and a red"x" on the open tab to close it.

  Stuartli 14:59 30 Jun 2009

It's not that that is the problem - it's an automatic reaction to hit the last button on the tab...:-)

Yes it seems pretty much the same, except you dont have to be on the page to close it. Other than that , it looks pretty good ;-))
