Hi,My old laptop recently 'died' but i have been able to access the hard drive using an IDE USB enclosure.I have saved most of my files and data but also want to retrieve my Firefox 3 passwords and bookmarks.I have installed FF3 onto my new laptop and now want to either copy the files from my old hard drive, or use another method to get the info into FF on my new laptop. Can someone please tell me how i do this? I have no idea where the passwords and bookmarks files will be, and unsure if it is as easy as copying the relevant files across.Cheers.

Thanks for the response and the link. However i can't find the 2 files it mentions at all!Sorry to be dim but where are the password files located? Thanks
They're in your C:\Documents and Settings\ folder. Easiest way to find them them is to search from your Start button which will give the the exact location
