As there seems to be little actual difference when using 2.0 whilst extensions don't always work once installed, I think I'll wait..:-)

I'm a big FF fan...but, tbh, v1.5 has been a pain. This is evidenced by the threads over on the Mozilla forums and from problems which I've encountered personally.

Let's hope that FF get's back on track.

I too will leave the beta well alone until it's proven itself.

What type of problems have you had?

Mine's been fine - just as with earlier versions.

1.0.6 used to crash dozens of times per session. I rolled back to the previous revision (which I always keep). 1.5 has been fine, though.

I've had a few problems...the ones that spring to mind are:-

1. An issue with downloading .rar files...FF prevented the automatic launch of the download client.

2. A problem with various extensions, the main one being crashing (I traced this to the NoScript extension).

3. A strange annoyance which meant that FF started to automatically update notwithstanding that it had been configured to report and ask!

None of these problems were evident in FF 1.0.7. and all extensions are routinely updated.
