Firefox 1.5 and Adblocker problems

  Andrew-C 17:55 04 Dec 2005

I've recently installed Firefox 1.5 on my windows 2k machine

On the previous version AdBlocker extension worked fine, however when i put it onto the new version of FF it won;t allow me to block Flash adverts. I have cleared the memory of which ads to block and have tried re-installing the extension but it is still not working.

The Adblock tab appears next to the advert but it doesn;t allow me to click on it (when i right click it just gives me the macromedia options)

Does anyone have any ideas how to get it to work properly?

If Flashblock works with 1.5 then use that in supplement to Adblock. Note that if you also use NoScript, Flashblock will not work unless javascript is first enabled for the site that you are viewing.
