fingerprint recognition??

I have jusy purchased a new laptop and it has the above. It tells you how to do it and then only the fingerprint it recognises lets you acces it apparently.

What I would like to know is - Is it possible to have both mine and my husband's fingerprints stored so that either of us can use it?

If this is not possible then I won't do it, as we both need to access it.

What is the make and model of the laptop?

Does the make etc. make a difference?

It is a PC Specialist one I had done. It comes with this automatically.
I bought it with XP home on.

Yes it does - not all laptops are the same, and it would help in searching for the answer to your question.

Yes, you can usually store many different fingerprint scans in a laptop - but I would phone PCSpecialist - their Helpline is extremely good. They also provide extensive user information with the laptop which may give you the definitive answer. The following site gives you some general pointers
