The Nforcer looks like a good price for what i'm looking for. But also the Isys is a great computer for the extra money. Is the Nforcer pro worth the extra money? Sorry if this post is long winded but it's really important to me to get the right one.

i would go for the pro as it is future proof and you will not have to do any upgrading for a couple of years

  citadel 19:29 03 Nov 2007

they are ok if you do not plays games, I would get the one with the core 2 duo. If you want games, a pc with the new 8800gt would be better.

I understand what you are saying it is important its a lot of money and you want something that will last a while.
I did point out in your other thread that the 8600GT is probably the minimum for games these days. citadel does make a valid point but it really depends how far you want to take it as a PC with a 8800GT would be probably another £100 maybe. (thats a guess off the top of my head). The very very latest games such as Crysis make a huge demand on the graphics or so I believe from what others have said.

Of the 3 you have listed it would have to be either the Intel Core 2 one or the higher spec AMD one with the 5600 x 2.

I see the Intel comes with a slightly larger hard drive but even ignoring that I think the Intel E6750 is a better, faster processor than the AMD 5600 dual core.
Tried to find benchmarks to compare but couldn't so maybe someone else will clarify.

I'd probably get the Intel one. I see you have chosen XP and if you want to play games I think thats the right decision.

found the next best thing on Tom's hardware click here

  Totally-braindead 21:54 03 Nov 2007

Yes I looked there Probabilitydrive before I posted but its not up to date and neither of the processors are listed.

  Totally-braindead 21:56 03 Nov 2007

Sorry the AMD is listed but the Intel isn't which makes it differcult to compare them.

  Gamble75 22:18 03 Nov 2007

i don't rly want it for top perfomance gaming, as long as i can play games now and again.

  Totally-braindead 22:40 03 Nov 2007

Then any of them would be fine Gamble75 and at the price I think the Intels the better deal.
