Film in Matroska File format

I have a film on my machine in the form of a Matroska File. I can't work out how to burn it to dvd, using either my Roxio or Windows Media Player. Can anyone advise please?

Reading what Matroska is I think you will need to burn the file to a DVD as a data file.

If you are trying to burn it to a DVD for viewing on a DVD player I don't think it will work unless you change the format.

This is the web page for Matroska click here it should hopefully answer most of your questions.

Thanks john bunyan and also BRYNIT, sorry about double post and my late reply...didn't get the usual email, telling me there's a response...have they stopped doing that?
