Im just getting used to a new computer on XP Pro which has 2 hard drives. Drive C has Windows and all the programs and drive D I want to use just for backup and archives. I note that this drive already has a couple of folders (about 20MB and 40MB) which seem to have lots of what maybe windows files, but dated back in January 2010 - I only got the computer last November! Windows won't let me delete those files - access denied or file in use warnings. Could someone explain how to delete them since I don't understand how they can be anything to do with me.
