The FE talked of power supply security

I recall that some time ago the FE said he was waiting for a power supply "box" that would keep things going in the event of a power failure. I do not need to have 100% reliable PC use but I am troubled by intermittent very short term power loss. By short term I mean for a fraction of a second but long enough to send my PC into reboot.

The problem by the way is with our supply company, the whole of the locality goes off.

So can anyone point me in the right direction and more importantly will one of these "boxes" deal with my particular problem

Many thanks.
