What program do I need to be able to send a fax with my broadband connection, direct from my computer?
Thanks

None, because you can't do it. You need a dialup modem.

If you have a dialup modem then you can use Windows own built-in fax program (it's always been a feature of various Windows operating systems over the years).

You could, however, use an e-mail to fax and vice versa alternative with broadband.

Go to Start?Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs.

Open Add/Remove Windows Components and tick the Fax Services box and OK.

You will probably need your XP disk.

The early Windows offering, Windows Messaging, was an excellent fax program.

It was set out on almost exactly the same lines as Outlook Express, thus making it even easier to use than most similar programs as it proved so familiar.
