I have BT Broadband but want to have fax facilities. If I buy an All-in-One printer, which includes fax facilities (eg. HP), can I use it with my broadband connection to send faxes?
Thanks

You must be connected to the telephone line to use fax.

No you cannot send/receive faxes via BB.

You need an analogue modem. An all-in-one printer with fax should have a built-in modem which plugs directly into your telephone socket.

Thank you to the three of you who have replied. I only want to send the occasional fax, so I'll either dig out my old fax modem or buy an all in one.
Thanks again
Patrick
