Does anyone know of a good fax to pc program that is available via the web.

You could install the Fax option from Windows, Add/Remove Windows Components. You will need the Windows disc handy for this.

I used to use Trinite fax to email service which cost £23 per year. That contract has now expired and I have switched to Tiscali which does the same service for free. You need to open a pay as you go dial-up account though. You get an exclusive 0870 or 0871 number.

Have a look at these previous threads:

You do, as pj123 has indicated, need a dialup modem to send/receive faxes.

I've used the Tiscali fax to e-mail service for several years following the demise of FaxMe, which provided a similar service.

However, I think you have to be a Tiscali subscriber to be able to use its service.

Faxes are sent using the XP Fax Console which, like previous Windows fax utilities, is very effective.
