Faulty web links in Outlook

  San Alwigi 20:02 18 Jul 2006

When I receive an email in my Inbox (I use Outlook 2003) every web link that features in the body text appears corrupted. For instance a link that should read 'click here' will instead read like this:
When I click on the link, it does not work (Page cannot be found). Any idea why my Outlook should be doing this to incoming messages? The same thing happens on my laptop. I think it is a problem with HTML and/or Text translation, but am not sure. Please help!
Many thanks,

San Alwigi

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Preferences.

Click E-mail Options, and then untick the Read all standard mail in plain text check box.

The web links contained in certain emails that I receive in Outlook appear with the word HYPERLINK before them, then the link is repeated twice and when you click on it, it takes you to a "Page cannot be found" page. This doesn't happen everytime, any ideas why?

When I receive an e-mail, any web links do not work. They are just shown as text, and I have to copy & paste the link into the address bar.
It used to work as a link. What could have happened?
