I have a removeable usb drive containing FAT files-please don't ask why!!- which I need to load on to a WIN98 system running FAT32. Is there any way in which this can be done?
On your Win 98 machine. There'll be no problem.
Thanks - it didn't work out quite like that as I had difficulty getting the WIN98 OS recognising the thumb drive. However, by moving the files through another PC I did manage to get them downloaded. Thanks again for the response
For any External Drive on Win98 you need to load Drivers
It's not like XP, with which you can just plug it in and windows does the rest. 98 is a configure able OS
Thanks for the advice. I did manage it by using an "in between" computer. I'm not sure why it worked but it did and I managed to download the files. Thanks again
