Faststone Capture Problem

  Quiet Life 12:32 25 Jun 2008

I have been using Faststone Capture 5.3 for some time. For some reason the Capture Screen now flies off the top of the monitor screen.
Any idea how I can get it back onto the desktop?
5.3 is the last of the free edtitions and is very good. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem remains

Solved the problem by downloading a later trial version which allows repositioning of the capture screen. Moved the screen down the desktop, uninstalled the later version and reinstalled 5.3.
The Capture screen was now back on the desktop

Great utility - have been using 4.8, but hadn't checked for a later version. Now using 5.3, thanks for the memory jog.

Hi, the FastStone Capture is free - I have been using it and recommending it for ages, it is brilliant!

Marg7 are you sure you used my link - I have just checked it again and it says, License Type - Free and Price - Free.

OK Marge, glad you found the proper Free one then.

I liked the free one so much I got myself the paid-for version.

I'm sure you will - I particularly like being able to edit and draw on the Captured Screen.

In 'Output' opt for To Editor ............

I carry this around with me on a USB stick - it's a "portable" application, meaning it doesn't "install" into the PC, it just runs.
