Fast Shutdown

Some time ago I had to access a function that allowed you to put a tick in a box to enable
fast shutdown but now cannot remember how I found it. Can anyone assist please. Meshuga.

In Win 98, Start > Run type, msconfig, click the Advanced button.

It's getting harder to post here.

Many thanks MAJ. It worked. I`m afraid that at
85 years old the memory isn`t so good. Meshuga.

If I get that far, Meshuga, I'll be more than happy. :-)

Good luck to you.

Talking about memory lapses, Meshuga, I forgot to say that sometimes enabling Fast Shutdown can cause shutdown problems. So if you notice a problem shutting down, disable it again.
