Fan problem on NVIDIA graphics card

My graphics card fan (NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200)is making a terrible noise. Is it possible to have the fan replaced - if so is it expensive? If I have to get a replacement graphics card, what is the best card equivalent to the 4200 available now? My PC is about 3 years old. Thanks for any help.
PS the fan has been cleaned.

Measure the fan, then look on Maplins website to see if they have a replacement. If they haven't got an exact size, try the nearest. Cheaper than a new card.
