Just aquired a P2 Gateway and am sorting it out to pass on[see earlier thread ref suitability for BB]

Cleared the disk for the lady whilst she watched to make sure I did not filch her secrets etc.
Have set it up and is running fine.

The previous owner said it was giving so much grief,where it got to the stage when it would not even get itself into 'safe mode'[her words] and had spend loads with 'expert' repairers ad nauseum.

I let all this flow without comment.
But I wondered what sort of state does a machine get into so that it would not run in Safe Mode.
The disk is fine, there appears to be no other fault [yet].

Totally full seems about right- for her
I've never has a 'full drive so far, so would not know what to expect.
Some form of corruption-virus/trojan too.
