External HDD from Aldi - what is eSATA connector?

what is a eSATA connector? do i have one on my computers or laptop??

Is this connection any good compared to firewire. I see this doesnt have firewire, is this a bad thing?

also, would this product be reliable?

like, i dont want it to fail or stop spinning with years of photos and files on it??

Although it does have 3 year warrenty?(standard on all aldi techs)

You need to check the Drive out, Its also most likely a USB2. as not all have Sata.

There are 2 Data Connectors on the Back

1. USB2

2. eSATA

Plus a power connector.

SATA and USB are different types of connection - if you have an older motherboard it may not accept SATA components.
