Im looking at Alidi's external hard drive.click herewhat is a eSATA connector? do i have one on my computers or laptop??Is this connection any good compared to firewire. I see this doesnt have firewire, is this a bad thing?thankss
also, would this product be reliable?like, i dont want it to fail or stop spinning with years of photos and files on it??Although it does have 3 year warrenty?(standard on all aldi techs)

You need to check the Drive out, Its also most likely a USB2. as not all have Sata.
Just had a look at the link and yes it will work on USB2

So your saying that eSATA connection they are talking about with really high transfer speeds, will work on my normal USB connection on my computers??
There are 2 Data Connectors on the Back1. USB22. eSATAPlus a power connector.
Yes it also works on USB2
SATA and USB are different types of connection - if you have an older motherboard it may not accept SATA components.
