External Hard Drives

am contemplating fitting an external hard drive. All the ones I have looked at list USB2 in their requirments, I have USB 1 is there anything I can do to overcome this?

Buy a USB2.0 PCI card.

install usb 2 card.you can plug it into usb1 but it will have the slower transfer rate have you not got a spare ide connector.darren

I use an external drive on three different machines, one with USB 2, the others are USB 1 and the difference in speed is of no consequence I find.
