External hard drive query

I have all my commercial pics on ext hard drives and want to plug this into a friends pc so they can see the type of things I do. However their pc is a shared pc (Students) and other users are very adept with computers and have in the past used other peoples work to their own ends, What I would like to know is, if I plug my drive into their computer in order for my friend to view my pics, would it leave any trace of them on the pc hard drive after viewing even though non will actually be saved knowingly to the drive?

I'm no expert but if you don't copy or move any file off of your external drive I cannot see that the Shared PC would store any of them. Once you unplug your drive there is no valid path to your pics.I get the feeling that you are thinking about the files being kept in the RAM somehow.

Thanks very much, that eases my mind somewhat. I'll tick this as resolved.
