External Hard Drive

B4 I purchase one can I password protect it so that if it gets nicked etc nobody can access the contents without the password? Thanks

You can and there are a number of ways of doing it. I did a Google search against `external hard drive protection` and came up with these click here

One of the is this click here but I have no idea how much you are prepared to spend to protect you data.

With the amount of software available to bypass and reveal hidden or forgotten passwords i would say it was hardly worh it, if you are that worried about it getting "nicked" lock it away somewhere when you are not useing it....
