A friend needs an external drive for his laptop so that we can save spreadsheets from it onto floppies - where is the best place to get one and what ports do they connect to?Cheers
Has the laptop USB capability, if so click hereYou may also like to consider a USB pen drive, similar in price to the external floppy for a capacity of 128MBts click here
I like the pen drive, basically an ipod without playback! What do I do if the laptop does not have USB?Cheers - DEANE
Almost all such devices are USB. You may be able to find an old Serial External Floppy Drive, if you search hard enough.I've had a quick look and so far, nothing. The only other solution that may be viable, is a direct cable connection from the laptop to a PC and then copy to media of your choice. Long winded way of going about it though!
