Extended Power/reset switch

I am fast running out of space and was wondering if there was a bit of kit, that housed a power switch optionally a reset switch that I could set on my desk and connect them to my PC which is in some spare space behind the desk, I need a DVD rewriter so I could get an external one and a powered USB hub so I wouldn't need access to the PC itself.

Does anyone know of such a product, I guess it wouldn't be that hard to make.

If you are anyway good with electronics you could just get a few switches and cable and hard wire them to the system.

Some computers allow you to turn on from the keyboard which would mean no need for any messing about. Alternatively you could always not turn off and just hibernate.

Therein lies the problem, my electonic abilities are not the best, but if needs must....

Rather than shut down, put the PC in stand by,
you can then switch back on by pressing any key on the keyboard.
