Could someone tell me why sometimes a web page uses over half my CPU power- seen on task manager and it will only close down through task manager, it can be any random web page with only that running.
I have p4 3ghz with expl 6 and xp pro

Have you got anything else loaded eg. Word or windows media player, which waste cpu power?

No particular web page
I have adware 6
Nothing else running using any power-checked on task manager

Although AdAware picks up most things (and I use it myself) it's also worth running spybot and SpywareBlaster click here as well just to be sure.
