EXPLORER caused an exception

  pcbobby 11:41 12 Jul 2005

With advice from our forum, I was able to select the Explorer repair tab from Add/Remove facility. For a little while I was no longer confronted by a pop-up about ‘illegal operation’.
However, I am now plagued another pop-up, as follows.

EXPLORER caused an exception c06d007eH in module SENS.DLL at 017f:6010857f.

I have tried using the repair solution mentioned above, but to no avail.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Look like if you don't use anything its there for you can delete it click here

Also try typing sens.dll into google for other explanations.

Thanks Ventanas. I shall try hese suggestions.

Sorry Taff36. I should have said the OS is W98 with V6 IE.

Guessed it was! Have a look at my previous link although Ventanas` link suggests the solution may not work. Nevertheless it`s fairly easy to try as a first step.

Acccesed the Earthlink site as you suggest Taff36.
As a novice, may I ask. When they refer to the installation disc,do they mean the W98?
If so, does it not require going the whole installing mode? I do have serial numbers etc.
