I have recently bought and installed a new - very good slideshow maker program (Photodex Proshow. It is proving very difficult to get my completed projects to run on my DVD player, and the guy @ Photodex has tried very hard to help. Symptoms are:
Completed project shows first two slides, over and over, but goes no further. These are no thumbnails, but full size slides. No menus are set, but if I specifically exclude menus, sometimes the burn will be successful.
Program frequently hangs, very solidly, particularly when trying to report an error. It puts up an error window which says Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6f9c 4 75b6f9c 75b6f9c. This is quite difficult to stop, generates a "tell Microsoft" and usually needs a re-boot.
I have followed all the advice I have been given, including turning off Windows Defender and AVG, but nothing makes any difference. Any ideas, guys?
Thanks Bute, but no good (although from your link I did find a good (apparently) registry/error removing prog, which found 1200 errors on my 2 month old system! Same thing still happening with Proshow: their help line says they have never seen a message like this before, and suggests the problem may be becauseI am using "poor media" to write to!
