Could somebody jog my memory please?
I have a new work computer and I can’t remember how to set up Excel so that rows are list ABC etc not 123.

Sorry forgot to mention Office 2000 premium

If you mean that you have 1 2 3 etc along the top (columns) instead of A B C then you need to uncheck 'R1C1 reference style' under Tools, Options, General tab. If this is what you need then I must give credit to VoG™ as this was learned from his answer to a previous similar enquiry.

Thanks for that Erich (I meant Columns must Monday brain fade)

Doh!! - if you had said columns I knew the answer (of course learnt from the excel guru!) - I was busily looking at the Excel help files when Eric10 posted!
