I have a cost in cell A1 of 2.30, in cell B1 2.50, in cell C1 2.70, in cell D1 3.00, in cell E1 3.50. Is there a formula which will give me the % of how much more the cells are to A1 in other cells.

So in F1 in need to know the % of how much more B1 is to A1, G1 I need to know the % of how much more C1 is to A1 etc.

I hope I have explained it as simply as I can!!!

In F1

=100*(B1-$A1)/$A1

and copy the formula across as far as I1.

That works good thanks now the next thing!! How do I keep the formulas in the cells but have the cells blank so I can type in different amounts. So I can enter amounts in A1-E1 and the % gets automatically entered in F1-K1!?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Perhaps:

=IF(OR(ISBLANK($A1),ISBLANK(B1)),"",100*(B1-$A1)/$A1)

in F1 and copied across.

Thanks that has worked perfectly. Thanks again VoG.
