How can I read my MS works spreadsheet files(.wks) with MS Office Excel.I dont have MS works on this computer so I think I may need some kind of conversion tool.MS works version was around 1998 or 1999.Dont know version number.

Microsoft's converters are all Works/Word and there don't appear to be any Works spreadsheet/Excel converters available, therefore the answer is when in Works to use File/Save as then select Excel from the list.

If you only have a few to do there is a free trial version converter here: click here

Alternatively, if that doesn't work and your Works files are not sensitive. Put them on a CD/DVD/Floppy and post them to me. I have Works and Excel and can convert them for you and post them back.
