EXCEL Formulae

Can I COPY the 'formula' from one square to several others ?

For eg: on line 5 I can add up 5a, 5c, 5e, 5g by using the simple "?+?+?+?" formula in sq 5K.

I also want to use the same formula on multiple lines,,,,, so would think that I can copy the formula in 5K to 5K, 7K, 8K, etc etc etc to save writing it out on hundreds of lines.

thanks folks

You can use the fill handle. Click in the cell containing the formula that you want to copy then hover the cursor over the bottom right of the cell until the cursor turns into a + then hold down the left mouse button and drag down or across as required.

Paste special is a handy one to remember when copying certain thing around in Excel once you have copied a cell right click the new cell and paste special > Formulas, Formats, Values etc.
