Excel - copying formulae

I have a workbook which has several worksheets and I need to copy data from one column in WKsheet 1 to WKsheet2. In 1 the data is listed in rows 3,5,7 etc but is to go into 3,4,5,6 ect. When I write the IF formula in WKsheet 2 in row 3 it brings across the correct data if I then copy that formulae through 4,5,6 etc it goes wrong. I tried getting rows 3,4 right and then copy from 5 onwards but it stll goes wrong. I need help - especially since later on instead of two row gaps it will increase to four row gaps.

anyone any suggestions

Easiest way is to write some VBA code. Which column (presumably the same on both sheets), and at what point does the gap increase to four rows? Are the sheets actually called WKsheet1 and WKsheet2?

You mention an IF formula - what IF formula? Do you just need to copy the values from one sheet to the other or something more?
