Can't believe I've forgot how to do this but i can't remember how to do something on excel.

I've got some data on two lines- the year and the amount of money earned in that year.
I want to make a graph of this which simply has the year along the bottom and the money up the side.
Selecting both to make a graph though gives me the 'year' value as another set of money data.
How would I set this so its the same line, just the two sides of it so the bottom is 1990-2000 not 1-10

Assuming years in A1:I1 and £s in A2:I2

select all the data, run the Chart Wizard, select chart type Scatter. That will give you £ versus year. If you change the chart type using the Chart menu, years should still be displayed on the abscissa.

OK, thanks VOG.
Thats more complicated then I thought...What a round about way to have to do things.
