Excel 2000 Gridlines.

On a particular workbook I have, there are a number of cells that have some of the grid lines missing. In Tools/Options/View Gridlines is checked but there are some cells that do not have all the grid lines showing.

How do I get those missing elements to show? It may be something to do with Security, but I have checked all those areas and cannot come up with an answer.

Select the whole worksheet then use the Format, Cells, Border option to insert the style you want.

Thanks for your response, but I'm not referring to the lines within the Work Sheet Cells that I have Formatted, but the actual Grid Lines of the Work Sheet. In other words, the grey outline of all the cells in a Workbook.

Select those cells and a few around them. Format|Cells, Patterns tab, No Color, Click OK.

That's for Excel 2003 - it might be No Fill in Excel 2000.

If VoG™ suggestion is not the answer you could try and check this, select the aera the cells that are missing gridlines "format cells > alignment check If there is a check in the merge cells check box.
