Ewido resident shield keeps turning off.

My Ewido resident shield is being turned off frequently and I don't know why, I have to keep turning it back on again. Has anybody else got or had this problem and has the answer?

Not had a problem at all with this program,I use the paid for v4.0.

BUT. click here= seems to be a known problem, maybe they have fixed it since.

Have you got latest version

Sorry but 'click here' don't want to work, basically it's AVGs forum saying they are working on the problem, date of the post was in June, hence suggest latest version.

Thanks your links do work I have only just responded as I have only just now resurfaced from the land of nod.
Looks like it's a known bug which I'll have live with and keep my eye on till it's fixed.
I'm using what I thought was the free version and I have had for 23 days so far.

and in the status page it says updated 'Never'??

Sorry missed the query Re:Version.
I have in fact the version, but it is only the trial version.

Sethhaniel, I thought it was supposed to update it's self on a regular basis. i.e. If your on line 24/7, every 60 minutes or whatever it is set at.

mines on stand alone computer - but updates downloaded to memory stick daily and updated to pc - but it doesnt trigger the warnign 'updated never' though the program is right up to date ;)

Is your Ewido the paid for version?

The Resident Shield is only permanent if you have paid money out for the program otherwise, after the thirty days trial is over it reverts to the basic manual update/no resident shield version.

No it's the trail version which i have had for 23 days, see above posting @ 08.29
