my epson s20 has come up service needed how can i reset it

SSC Utility click here

One note of caution however. If your ink pads are getting full you may need to disassemble the printer, clean them and re-assemble. Resetting the printer may work for a while but if the pads overflow you will have a real problem.

I`ve just realised that this printer is probably only 9 months old at most. PCA reviewed it in July 2008. How long have you had it and where did you purchase it from? Unless you have printed a few thousand prints I am dubious that the printer should be coming up with service error messages so soon. Can you give us the exact message please.

This is a tricky one. if you can`t reset the chip in the printer it probably can`t be over-ridden. Is there another printer similar to the S20 listed in the SSC Utility?
