Error Message won't go away

I recently changed my monitor (temporarily) to a smaller version. Since I did this an error message box appears on the desktop at startup which states 'pVcap does not support IKsPropertySet'.
Clicking OK or any other action will not close it. However the computer (running Windows 98)contines to work perfectly in all programs, but the error message is rather irritating.
Does anyone know what it means and how to get rid of it?

Newuser2193, I am guessing here, but I think it is a DirectX error message. This Microsoft article refers to IKsPropertySet click here.

Unless you have a USB video capture device, click here, then the best suggestion I can make is to delete your graphics card driver and reinstall it, or to update your DirectX installation.

Gongoozler, thanks for the advice. I've tried updating my DirectX but it had no effect. I've yet to try reinstalling my graphics driver, but will let you know if it solves the problem.
