error message

on startup for some reason I get an error message " registry data not found" i`ve done nothing different so I don`t no what It means If It`s not important how can I get rid of it?

It is generally related to an uninstalled program where bits have been left behind.
Have a read of this link it should point you in the right direction.

if you delete a programme folder without running the uninstaller.

Go to 'Start' and then 'Run' and type: MSCONFIG

then hit the enter key, and click on the tab marked 'startup'.

Now comes the laborious part.

Remove the tick from the items listed, one by one, restarting your computer each time until you find the one that's causing the problem. Once your computer starts normally you can go back and retick everything except the culprit.

It's worth a try.
