Hi All, can anyone help???

Keep getting an error message as follows,

"lexplore has caused an error in User.exe.
lexplore will now close"

My PC appears to run slow then, but not always??

Have recently installed some spyware, is this causing me problems??

Thanx, Ian...

Why on earth would you want to install spyware. Download 'Ad-Aware'or 'Spybot' and run it. If all else fails you could try re-installing IE. You don't say what O/S you are running but you can try running System file checker which may pick up on corrupted files.

Exact same problem when a client had 27 BHOs installed (BHO = Browser Helper Object - sometimes unstable IE addons)

USe SpyBot click here and AdAware click here to remove these programs and anything else that might be crippling your IE.

hi, i have the same problem, I've run the internet repair as directed by Microsoft (i.e control panel, add/remove program, repair internet ), i a;so run adware.
Before doing this my computer would show the same error message and crash, now the error message (admitly a lot less often) appears and just throws me off the net, however I'm unable to use the web until i re start the pc.
I use Windows me, and use Telewest Blueyonder Broadband.
I've also re formatted and re installed ME.
