Hey all,

When trying to install my printer drivers, and the latest version of AVG free, i get this error message before the installation terminates:

16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' and terminate the application

What does this mean? It annoying i cant install things because of this.
Im running Windows XP Professional with SP2 installed.

Seems to be a common fault - look for
Autoexec.nt in windows/System32 folder - if it is missing from system32 folder - copy from windows/repair folder and its fixed ;) -
(If it isn't there to start with it looks like sfc /scannow will not find and replace it )- ;)
